Tried to use both Software Settings and Web Interface to disable Telnet. RTS unit will reboot but Telnet will still be enabled when back online. Using NS-Link 11.23 on RTS 8 port (DB9).

Hi,

Try running the Web Browser as Adminisrator (Right click on icon and select "Run as Administrator ".
Make the changes and see if it takes.

Hi,

I just checked this behavior on a unit and verified that Telnet does get disabled as expected (Connection Refused when attempting to connect).

Are you certain you're clicking the Save button in the Web interface -> Network -> Security before rebooting the DeviceMaster? It can sometimes be hidden in small windows. I recommend opening a separate full-screen Web browser and navigating to the IP address of the DeviceMaster.

Thanks,

Matt
