Sorry if this is covered elsewhere... I couldn't find an answer with Google or the Forum search.

Is a steady amber colored status light on the RTS 1-port a good thing or a bad thing?

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jamjamason,

For normal operation, the Status Light will be on for 10 seconds, blink briefly, then go for another 10 seconds and blink.
This will continue.

While booting, the DeviceMaster first goes into "Bootloader" mode. The light will then blink equally off-on while in this mode. After the bootloader timeout is reached, it will then go into SocketServer mode and blink once every 10 seocnds.

I hope that clears things up.

Kurt
