Are these 4-Port Device Master hubs interchangeable?

Hi b13xm0,
From a hardware perspective, yes. However, usually the computer is running a driver that facilitates using Com Ports to communicate.
If the driver is new, and the firmware of the DeviceMaster to be swapped in is old, then there could be an incompatibility.
Example:
Old driver and New Firmware (10.0 and higher) = Good
New driver and Old Firmware ( below 10.0) = Compatibility issues.
As long as the driver and firmware are compatible on the DeviceMasters, there shouldn't be a problem.
Also note, that when using a Com Port and you swap out a DeviceMaster, the Driver Management Console has to be re-configured with the MAC or IP Address of the new DeviceMaster.
